Facial Mesotherapy with Microneedling
Active ingredients that reach deeper than a cream can, through micro-channels in the skin. A non-injectable method, with no injection needles.
What goes in, and how it gets there
The blend we use contains hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The point is to get them deeper than a cream can reach, since a cream stops at the upper layers.
We do that with microneedling: a Dermapen-type device creates very small channels in the skin, through which the actives pass. At the same time, those controlled micro-injuries trigger your own collagen production.
What we do not do here
There is also an injectable form of mesotherapy, where the blend is placed into the mesoderm with fine needles. That is a medical procedure and is performed by a doctor.
At BFI only the non-injectable form is offered
We are an aesthetics institute. We do not perform injectable procedures and we will not offer them as something we can do.
If injectable mesotherapy is what you are after, we will say so plainly and refer you to a doctor. We will not try to keep you here with a method that does something else.

Before and after the session
- Tell us your history
Medicines, allergies, clotting problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. These determine whether and how we proceed.
- Clean skin
No make-up. If you use retinoids or acids, we stop them a few days beforehand.
- Immediately afterwards
The area is red for a few hours. We apply a soothing product and sunscreen.
- For the first 24–48 hours
No make-up, sauna, gym or strong sun.
The side effects, without embellishment
The skin takes a controlled irritation. Something will show, and that is expected.
What to expect afterwards
Redness like mild sunburn, a tight feeling and possibly slight dryness over the following days. It usually settles within one to three days.
That is why we do not book a session the day before a wedding or a presentation. Leave some room in your schedule.
The method does not fill deep wrinkles and does not lift slack tissue. Those are the job of other methods — and some of them are not done in an aesthetics institute.
It is not permanent. It is planned as a programme of sessions and it needs maintenance, like almost every non-invasive method.

What most people ask, answered briefly and clearly.
Do you use needles?
Not in the sense of an injection. Microneedling creates very small channels in the skin with micro-needles, but nothing is injected into the mesoderm. The injectable form is a medical procedure and is not performed here.
Does it hurt?
The sensation is strong but tolerable — most people compare it to a light scratching. We apply a numbing cream beforehand where needed.
Will it show that I have had it done?
For a few hours, yes: the skin is red. The next day most people carry on as normal, with sunscreen and without make-up.
How does it differ from injectable mesotherapy?
The injectable form places the blend deeper and more precisely, and it is a medical procedure. The non-injectable form works more gently and combines penetration with collagen stimulation. If you need the first, we will tell you.
Does it replace filler?
No. A filler adds volume at a specific point. Here we are talking about skin quality and hydration, not filling.
How many sessions do I need?
It is set at the assessment, depending on the condition of your skin. We do not give you a number over the phone.
